In other news, Victor Volkman on the Southeast NextDoor web has announced that the Washtenaw County Parks system is or may be in the process or planning to add acreage to the real Northfield Preserve, a County park available to all.  We'll add details as they arrive.  There's a slight chance that the names of the Washtenaw County park were confused with the name of the more northerly Donna Lane Condominium preserve.
